DAY 2 (FEB 6TH) HALF-MOON NAILS!

Here are my day 2 nails, Half-Moons!  I have done these before...once without a nail guide and once with a nail guide.  I think my other ones might have been slightly better.

As you can see, the purple does not cover the white completely as it should.  I still came out nice, but not with the usual clean appearance expected.  It could be user error...I was very mad at the Orly Decades polish for being very willing to gouge while dry, so I was trying to be careful not to hurt it further. That is part of the reason the my thumb nail is now solid purple...it got gouged trying to apply the nail guides.  I used Zoya Aurora for the overlay.

Note to self: Do NOT use Orly Decades of Dysfunction for nail art base anymore.  It does not dry hard or even semi-hard for nail art.

Ok, moving on...enough talking...here is the finish.

This is the bad photo.

Now, here is a better photo,  but it doesn't have the challenge information.

  2. Hmmm...I've used Decades of Dysfunction for a nail art base before and didn't have any trouble. Funny how different polishes work for different people. Anyways, this is super cute and I love that Zoya!

    1. Yeah, I never have had it really dry for me...where other Orly polishes do. Weird, yes. Thank you! :D

  4. I love the way the nude works as the half moon shape and the contrast against the glitter - these are gorgeous!
